Mirror for Samsung TV pour Mac

This works perfectly for me, streams my Mac content to my Samsung TV, very useful for BBC programmes for which a VPN is needed (outside of UK). I had an older version of this app, could not get the audio driver to work, had a very quick response from AirBeam tech support, upgraded the current version of the app, and am completely satisfied with the app, and the helpfulness of the AirBeam team.

Tech support is a robot. Just keeps pushing canned messages. This app does 'something' with wifi, vendor refuses to reveal just what... Any interrupt (Saturday night that is often) from your ISP also interrupts your movie, after which you get to reset your Mac to restart the movie. NOT passthru from Mac to modem to TV, it does "something' with wifi, be forewarned. Could be doing anything on your Mac. Works great when your ISP cooperates, annoying manual restarts otherwise. Needs a lot of polish before it's worth your money.

I decided to leave a review: since I see undeservedly low ratings for this application. In my opinion, the application is very convenient and simple. Does not require any specific settings. Everything is very simple and understandable! It can play both the desktop and any selected application (you need to add any program to the playlist). Very, very convenient to mirror the image on the TV! In this case, the player has controls: scrolling. reproduction, stop. You can control both from the application itself and from the TV remote control. The problems I noticed: mirroring does not start. Solution: reset the DHCP settings (in the mac os network settings). In extreme cases (if you use different applications that change the network settings) - reset the application settings (I use CleanMyMac for this).
video playback requirements: MP4, so you need to convert other formats to MP4. (I use MKV2MP4 for this - 1-minute conversion (depends on the size of the source file): I did not see a simpler and faster converter. developers "Mirror for TVs ..." - to build in the application a simple video file converter.
The overall score for the application "Mirror for TVs ..." in my opinion is 4.5 (under improvement) of 5 stars. Nevertheless, no matter whoever wrote negative reviews, in fact, there is no better application for mirroring images on TV, for today.
And yes, of course support 2.4 and 5Hz WiFi! Who does not connect - look for a problem in the settings of your relay equipment (you may need to disable ip6).
And yes, I do not need AppleTV now!
